Welcome to the 2020-2021 School Year! I hope that everyone is excited for a new year of learning and meeting new challenges. Whether you will be joining us through our Digital Academy or Brick and mortar, I am glad to have you. This year, I will be teaching Reading and Social Studies. I am required to take attendance every day and I have access to see if you have logged into Canvas and what time. If you log into Canvas each day, I will know you are working on something and can mark you present. I am looking for to a wonderful school year where we will learn new things and stand triumphant.
The District has set up support lines for any questions parents may have. Anyone having issues with devices for the Digital Academy are encouraged to call the Technology Support line at (850)-487-7260.
Digital Academy food pick up: Breakfast and lunch will be available daily for pick up between 9:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. as a curbside service. You will receive both meals for the day at one time.

Cavas Instructions
Below are the steps you will use to log into Canvas and access your Zoom calls and all course work.
Step 1: Go to leonschools.net
Step 2: In the upper right hand corner, click on Classlink under Header Icons
Step 3: Use YOURSTUDENTID#@EDU.LEONSCHOOLS.NET number (for username) and lunch pin (for password)
Step 4: Click on the red Canvas tile.
Step 5: Click on your homeroom course that says “West Homeroom.” In your homeroom you will see Zoom on the left-hand side. If you scroll the page, you will see all of your courses and you can click on the circle.
